Hey everybunny! Floppy here. You know, we rabbits are highly intelligent creatures. Don’t believe me? Well, just think about all the ways we mess with you and keep you guessing. See… there you go! Now you get it. We’re smart, but we need things to keep us busy, or our big brains will turn to darker urges 😉🐇. One of the best ways to keep us focused on “less destructive” activities is to provide us with quality, fun rabbit toys. Stuff we can chew on, bat around, figure out, stuff like that.
My hoomans unending search for ways to keep 8-Bit and me entertained led them to a wonderful small business called PetStyle. They have an Etsy store full of fun stuff for your bunny. We had a chance to experience a few of their creations, so let’s dig into it and I’ll give you my thoughts.
Fun Rabbit Toys Born From Love
Rochelle and Jeremy, the hoomans behind PetStyle, started making toys for their own small pets when they couldn’t find quality and engaging toys in the marketplace. Soon, they began to offer their creations to the world, and now they have a fast growing empire! They focus on entertainment and safety with their toys, and their choices are backed by research. That makes me feel better. As a bunny, I like to be able to just go all-in at playtime and not have to wonder if I’ll be safe!
And go all-in we did! Let’s have a look at the toys we got to play with…
Flower Shaped Flavored Balsa Wood Chews on Stand
So at first, 8-Bit and I were like “What’s this thing all about?” Not uncommon for us. We tend to investigate for a bit when new things are given to us. But it didn’t take long to appreciate this balsa wood flower toy. I think the key is that the flowers are soaked in juice (one each of carrot, apple, and cranberry). Very quickly my nose was just drawn in, then I had a nibble, and then I was hooked! 8-Bit liked the fact that she could bat the flowers around and make them turn. She likes to play like that. I’m usually just there for the flavor and bunstruction, but I have to admit I enjoyed the rotation part a bit too.
I heard Bundad say that he was curious if we would be drawn to the shiny metal nuts that hold the flowers in place. In truth, we could care less about them. The wood is tasty and easy for us to nibble, and that’s all that matters to me!
One cool thing about this toy is that PetStyle sells replacement flowers. So, when we chew them out of existence, I can go to Bunmom and demand more, and she’ll simply have no excuse not to get me new ones!
At the time of this posting, PetStyle is also offering a version of this toy with Christmas ornaments instead of flowers. Super cute!
Christmas Themed Flavored Balsa Chew Base Toy
I like Christmas. It means we get more treatos! So, having Christmas themed items to kick around our room fits my personal definition of quality, fun rabbit toys when it comes to this time of year. It reminds me that treato day is just around the corner 😉.
This Christmas chew toy play set is fun. I can pick up one of four different flavored blocks (cranberry, apple, carrot, and beet) and run to my personal hiding spot and simply enjoy. This is a nice change from the flower toy as it offers me a choice of location for my gnawing. Sometimes I just want to chew alone.
Like the flower toy, you can also get replacement toys. They also had a halloween-themed set before this, so my bunny senses tell me that you’ll be able to keep your bunny “seasonally engaged” with this toy!
Oversized Christmas Themed Flavored Balsa Chews
What if you’re into a completely portable chewing experience? If so, then the oversized chews are a great choice! You get a set of four (cranberry, apple, carrot, and beet) made with the same tasty detail and care as the other toys, only without a base. I think it comes down to preference and space really as to whether this set of toys or one of them with a base is the way to go. Or, you could just get it all! Your bunny will thank you 🙏🐇.
Quality Fun Rabbit Toys For Us, Cute Factor For The Hoomans
Let’s be honest… we rabbits and you hoomans have different goals. We want tasty treatos and toys that keep us engaged. We don’t care how it looks. You want us to be happy, but you also want our toys to be adorable (just like us 😂). I’m happy to report that the goodies we got from PetStyle fit everyone’s and everybun’s needs. I overheard Bunmom gushing about the cuteness of the toys, so she was clearly happy. 8-Bit and I just had fun playing, so we were hoppy. Anytime you can have a win-win like this, then it’s money well spent.
The Next Morning…
I present to you the physical evidence that we had a bit of fun. We tend to do our best chewing overnight. This is one night’s work. It’s a good start!
Final Thoughts
You want quality, fun rabbit toys. We bunnies want that too! Our friends at PetStyle were able to deliver both. 8-Bit and I were happy with the taste of things. You can’t beat stuff that’s soaked in juice! (BTW, they use juices that contain no added sugar or color). The Bunparents were happy with the quality construction of everything, the level of detail, and the adorable nature of the toys. Frankly, Petstyle’s offerings are really affordable as well. Nothing in their shop falls under the “break the bank” category. Just the opposite actually. Their stuff is priced at a level that is approachable for everyone.
Additionally, I’m happy to see that PetStyle ships to most countries! This is great, since I know so much of my audience is from all around the world. Odds are PetStyle can ship to where you live.
